The 3-D Secure technology in the security programs «Verified by Visa» and «MasterCard SecureCode» requires cardholders to identify themselves before the payment is initiated.
Card verification numbers
The card verification numbers CVC2 (MasterCard) and CVV2 (Visa) on every credit card identify the cardholder in addition to the card number and thus prevent card misuse.
